What is a generic deck? Is that the cloudskipper set?

Also, how do you get the new starter packs? Are they purchase only? In the past we've gotten them when they launches, I think...

    Back to Scenerio 14 Oathbound!!!

Edit: I FINALLY beat that scenario, destroy the rift!! Its been nagging me since LoN launched lol.

    Woot!

Generic Avatar = Cloudskipper, indeed. That also means no archetype-specific cards can be used. Still, you can make it work, there are an increasing number of Generic Units, Questes, Abilities, Items and Tactics. :)

BTW, http://ironfingers.outlands.com/LoN-scen.htm for scenario rewards ... I have to flesh it out, but have ATV and ETN (since they have loot cards, and deck/archetype-specific ones) up already.

In theory, there should be a way to buy new Starter Packs ... but the last I saw was the $20 ETN one, which was basically all four starters at once.

Kewl thanks...figured I'd catch ya on here before EQ2 assuming your still entertaining.

Finally finished up Oathbound and enjoying the Priest deck I have now...Gotta check out some loot cards now :p

Also, whats fair for to ask in a foil trade? I put one up for 2 rares, and it was completed within minutes.. So I listed another for 2R, and 2U but havent had a bite. Great bait though thanks for the tip!

For foils, I usually put up:

    1 C/Foil for 1 good UNC or 2 so-so UNCs
    1 U/Foil for 3-5 UNCs or 1 Rare
1 R/Foil for 3-4 Rares (if it's a rare I like, I ask for three non-foils of it, this seems to be kinda standard)

The biggest thing about trades is patience. Your trades stay up for ... 7 days, I think. I've had the exact same trade expire after a week, re-listed it, and *boom* it goes a couple hours later.

Overall, I keep a list of play cards (on an index card, I'm a g33k) I want to get, and when I set up trades, I try to make sure I get them all in there ... and when they expire, I try to mix them up (if before I asked for cards XYZ from foil A, and PQR from foil B ... then when I re-list, it might be XQZ for A and PYR for B).

If I'm trading a LOT of cards, I try to ask for other-archetype cards -- for example, if I'm offering up a rare Fighter card, I'll ask for anything BUT other Fighter cards (the idea being, someone focused on their Fighter deck, won't want to lose some of those). It seems like there are two kinds of foil collectors : people who want to play with an all-foil deck (meaning they have to keep using non-foils until they round out their collection), and people who want full sets of Foils.

I also trade non-foils for non-foils, and try to stick with the "ask for a different archetype" when I do those too. I have a rockin' Mage deck, a great Priest deck, an okay Fighter deck, and no Scout deck to speak of ... bet you can tell what I play the most, and what I rarely play. ;)

I now have INQ through ATV scenario rewards webbed up, and realized I never got around to updating my (booster pack) Loot Card page ... so I guess a little more work. =)
