the game freeze problems have been getting worse for me. I can not go more than 5 minutes without a lockup. I can most of the time ctrl/alt/del out to task manager to shut down the game, but a few times I had to hard reboot. I will keep searching for help, but it is too frustrating to try to play and cant. I am spending more time trying to fix the game than actually playing the game. Si until a KNOWN fix is out there- I will not play. I have actually thought of asking for my money back- it has gotten that frustrating
Still having issues. After reading through everything, it could be a variety of causes. One option is the on board audio and Punkbuster dont mix well, so some have luck by adding a sound card. I may look into this. I guess for me the frustration is the game is a great game, but it just looks like there was no effort on the PC side of things, and that the main focus was to try to beat MW3 on consoles. My system specs FAR exceed the minimum and recommended specs for the game, but yet I can not play. Hope for a patch soon.
That sucks, it's been running pretty well for me since the last server side patch. I have onboard sound and I don't know that it's causing me any issues?
the repeated lockup at 6 minutes makes me think of punkbuster problems. I found this on the net, but I can't say I personally followed these links. Maybe it will help?
